Each month, families in Missouri are left searching for answers as another child disappears. As of April 20, 2025, nine more children have been reported missing this month alone, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Among them is Antonia Thompson, who has been missing since April 7.

It’s important to remember that not every missing child is a runaway. Missouri law (Section 43.400, RSMo 2023) considers all runaway cases as missing children cases. Teens are especially vulnerable, and it’s critical not to make assumptions about the circumstances surrounding their disappearances.
NCMEC updates its database regularly, and when a poster is taken down, it may indicate a child has been found or the case has changed status. Still, many cases remain open.
Seven teens reported missing in March 2025 remain unaccounted for:
-
Jamear Taylor
-
Dorian Locke Vallinmaki
-
Tony Tarez Steeples
-
Iysis Cross
-
Jeremih Kahari
-
Jordan Thomas
-
Michael Darnell Mosley
-
Dumorrgon Sullivan
In addition, four out of six children reported missing in February 2025 are still missing. From January 2025, two 17-year-olds—Bertram Griffin and Alexis Whitley—remain unlocated three months later.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children operates 24/7 and works closely with law enforcement and families to locate missing children, prevent abductions, and combat exploitation. If you know anything about any of these children, call the NCMEC at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678).
Please share this information. You never know who might see it—and that awareness could be the key to bringing a child home.
