Armed Suspect Caught on Camera Threatening Trooper at Tacoma Home

TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man involved in a concerning case of felony harassment that occurred on Monday, April 7.

According to investigators, the suspect approached a residence and began making threatening statements directly into a surveillance camera. While doing so, he appeared to brandish what looked like a firearm.

What makes the situation even more alarming is that a clearly marked Washington State Patrol cruiser was parked in the home’s driveway—indicating the residence belonged to a law enforcement officer.

Authorities are now working to identify the man and are urging anyone who may recognize him to contact the Tacoma Police Department.
