SEATTLE, Wash. — Health officials in Washington state have confirmed a fourth measles case, this time involving an adult who is believed to have been exposed to the virus while traveling outside the country.
King County Public Health announced the case this week, noting that it is unrelated to the previous three confirmed cases reported earlier this year.
According to health officials, there is little to no risk of exposure to the general public from this individual case.
