SEATTLE – Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Monday afternoon in the Rainier Valley area, leaving one man injured and the suspect still on the run.
According to the Seattle Police Department, the incident happened near Rainier Avenue South and South Rose Street, where a 43-year-old man was outside working on his vehicle when an altercation broke out between him and another individual.
During the dispute, the suspect reportedly stabbed the man multiple times—striking his neck, elbow, and hand. Authorities said the most serious wound appeared to be a defensive injury to his hand, while the cut to his neck was relatively minor.

Emergency crews transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers canvassed the surrounding area, including Sturtevant Avenue South, but were unable to locate the suspect. As of now, no arrests have been made, and detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances that led up to the violent encounter.
